Can my child take a course by himself/herself or it only works with guidance from a counselor or parent?
It' simple and easy to use. Any high school student can figure out how to use it. It's best if a student is guided by an adult who can suggest what careers to explore and follow up after the course completion, however, it's not mandatory.
What age is it suitable for?
Anywhere between 12 y.o. up to 100 y.o. It's never too early or too late to start a career exploration and the earlier the person starts the more informed decision it will be. Our course is designed so that anyone could understand the content. We would recommend starting with a career exploration from 7th or 8th grade.
How many careers is it best to explore?
We suggest anywhere from 3 to 6 careers. That should be enough to make a decision about your future career.
How do you validate career experts?
We select only experienced industry professionals who have demonstrated extreme proficiency in their respective fields. All of our career experts are positive role models, under 35 y.o. (Youth to Youth), have 4+ years of experience and are committed to growth in their industry.
What if I didn't find a career that I am (my child is) interested in?
Please email us at polina@onlineyoung.com and let us know what career you would like to explore. It might take up to 3 weeks to add it to our library, but we promise that we would add it for you.
